As the weather continues the heat wave for many places in Australia. We are thankful that the bay breezes often kick in to make our suburb one of the lucky ones.
Known to have temperatures a couple of degrees cooler in summer and to be warmer in winter makes Manly Qld an enviable place to live and another great reason to stay for guests who are visiting Brisbane or South East Qld.
Just a short walk down the street from the dog friendly Sea Captains Quarters you will find the Manly Baths a great place to cool off in summer. (The pool is heated for winter)
In our neighbouring suburb of Wynnum you will find the Wynnum Wading pool a heritage-listed tidal pool built in 1930's and has had a major upgrade in recent years. Next to this is the water park for children a great place to cool off and have a picnic by the bay. A walk along the waterfront is a must for your stay in Brisbane.
