Prevent heat exhaustion in your Pets at home

This weekend in Qld we hear the very disturbing news of the gross neglect of a poor dog who died a horrific death from heat exhaustion after being tied up without access to shade or water.  This follows the death of another beautiful dog in December last year who died from heat exhaustion while being cared for in a NSW kennel.

The temperatures are hot and dogs like people need to be protected.

Please make sure your pet has access to adequate shade and plently of water.  Before you leave your pet during the day ensure the water containers are in the shade and make sure the water containers are full. It is imortant to have more that one water container in case your pet turns over the water container.
